Please note that meetings have re-commenced for 2021. The next meeting for the Calligraphy Society of South Australia is on Sunday 16th April at 1.15pm.
This afternoon workshop will allow you to continue discovering the varied and interesting effects achieved with graphite and coloured pencils – both watercolour pencils and normal.
We have looked at shading using several graphite grades and know how their use changes the look of a letter.
You were introduced to a simple letter design with waisting, extension and exaggeration of letter shape and repetition.
If you attended our March meeting, please bring all your work. If not, then you will be able to ‘catch-up’. This workshop is suitable for everyone. Those with previous experience using pencils will leap ahead with their designs and may even finish one on ‘good’ paper. Only use graphite or colour pencils.
